special intentions – prayers needed
Well, reader… It is Friday, and while I love Fridays, I have a few things on my heart today that require great prayer. Please join me in lifting up the following special intentions:
1. There is another sentencing hearing today in the trial against my sister’s shooter. It’s been two years and seven months since Rosario was shot, twenty-three months since the preliminary hearing, and thirteen and a half months since the original sentencing hearing. Rosario isn’t anticipating any sort of outcome today, but please pray that a resolution is close at hand. See her blog post about today’s hearing here.
2. My friend’s eight-year-old daughter is having heart surgery at 1PM today to correct a condition called supra ventricular tachecardia. Please pray for the lovely Miriam, the surgeons, nurses, hospital staff and Miriam’s family.
3. Fellow blogger and personal friend, Lindsay of Young Married Mom, recently had a miscarriage. She is sharing her journey of love, grief, healing, and hope here. Please remember her in prayer, along with her husband and their family.
